Ingredients:

Water, Calcium Propionate, Magnesium Sulfate, Ascorbic Acid, Ginger, Yucca schidigera, Vitamin D.

Directions:

Administer 300cc (approximately 10 oz.) of Saf-Cal as an oral drench once or twice a day, or as needed.

Shake Well Before Using

Avoid administration into the trachea or lungs.

Calcium Chloride

Saf-Cal is a unique formulation of highly bio-available calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, energy and botanicals flavorings. Saf-Cal does not contain calcium chloride (a potentially caustic compound found in many oral drenches) and will not burn or damage the sensitive esophageal lining or digestive tract of dairy cows like calcium chloride might do.

Energy Source:

The calcium propionate is also a highly bio-available energy source, which may also be beneficial to post-partum cows.

Stabilized Vitamin C:

Each 10 oz. dose of Safe-Cal contains as much Vitamin C as 8cc of injectable Vitamin C. Vitamin C is an excellent antioxidant to support challenged animals. Also, vitamin C is know to support optimum utilization of minerals such as calcium.
