Product Profile: 

Elite-Select 18/20 calf milk replacer has an 18% crude protein sourced from high quality milk proteins and is then fortified with key amino acids to bring the critical amino acid level up to a point that would be equivalent to a 20% crude protein.  This approach to protein formulation results in a product that has very high quality and provides excellent calf performance.

When milk proteins are high priced, as they have been recently, there are several options to reducing calf milk replacer cost, i.e. use lower grade, less digestable milk and fat ingredients, take nutrients out of the formula or to incorporate amino acids into the formulation. 

Crystal Creek has chosen to keep using high grade milk and fat ingredients and to take advantage of the pricing benefits amino acid formulation provides.  By using this approach to formulation the producer can save about $2.00 per 50 bag and the calf performance is just as good.  Calves are the foundation of any dairy operation and we take calf performance seriously.  Elite/Select 18/20 offers great value without compromising calf performance.

Cold Processed Manufacturing: 

Cold process manufacturing does not use additional heat, thereby minimizing the risk that heat posses to protein digest ability for the calf. 

Edible Grade Ingredients: 

Non-mineral ingredients used in the formulation of Elite-Select are edible grade.  Edible grade ingredients meet stringent standards set for human consumption, have the highest digestibility and are the highest grade available.  Edible grade ingredients have the lowest level of heat damage and the least amount of contamination, such as, bacteria, fungal and mold.

Confinement Level Formulation:
