Ingredients:

Dextrose, Malto Dextrin, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate, Citric Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Calcium Pantothenate, Kaolin.

Feeding Directions:

Low Need:

Mix 3 heaping scoops (enclosed, 30 gram/scoop) of Replena-Lytes with 2 quarts of warm water. Feed once per day/calf. Feed milk or milk replacer per normal feeding schedule.

Moderate Need:

Mix 3 heaping scoops (30 grams/scoop) of Replena-Lytes with 2 quarts of warm water. Feed two times a day per calf. Feed milk or milk replacer at half the recommended level.

High Need:

Mix 3 heaping scoops (30 grams/scoop) of Replena-Lytes with 2 quarts warm water. Feed 2 quarts of this solution per feeding, four times a day per calf. Use Replena-Lytes as the only source of feed for up to 2 days. Return to milk feeding by offering a reduced amount of milk first and building back to full quantity during a 2-4 day period, gradually replacing Replena-Lytes solution with milk as follows:

Day 1 & 2: Feed according to high need of

electrolytes.
Day 3 & 4: Feed according to the moderate need

above.
Day 5: Feed according to the low need schedule

above.

Product Profile:

Replena-Lytes is scientifically formulated with highly bio-available ingredients, to provide dietary support to dehydrated calves and calves needing extra nutrition.

In-coming Calves:

Feed a 'high need' intake of of Replena-Lytes for the first meal to newly arrived calves, without feeding any milk. Wait approximately 3 or 4 hours, and then feed 1/2 of a normal meal of milk to the calf. Then resume your normal milk feeding protocol.

For severe rehydration needs on newly arrived calves, consider giving an appropriate intake of Replena-Lytes in water alone, mid-day between normal milk feedings.

Environmental Extremes & Challenged Calves:

Add Replena-Lytes to the milk according to need. Consider mid-day feeding with Replena-Lytes in water.

Note: For calves that require electrolytes, energy and the added benefits of fibers and pectins consider using Calf 180.
